12) “O Allah, Lord of the Seven Heavens and Lord of the Earth and Lord of the Great Throne, our Lord and Lord of everything, the One Who causes seed-grain and date-stone to split and sprout, the One Who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion [i.e., the Qur`an], I seek refuge with You from the evil of everything whose forehead [i.e., control] is in Your Hands. O Allah! You are the First and there is nothing before You, and You are the Last and there is nothing after You, and You are the Manifest and there is nothing above You, and You are the Hidden and there is nothing beyond You.
